Hi Frank! How are you doing? One of our colleagues here in i2CAT Hub (Barcelona) is going to travel to Cuba this summer. We have seen there's an Edoovillage coordinated by your hub: https://www.labdoo.org/edoovillage?e=18368 If there are still laptops required, my colleague would be able to bring some from our hub, so please let us know if you need some :) All the best, Adrian

Hi Ralf and team in Germany, There is a traveler going to Hamburg from Colombia and Leidy and her hub/team in Colombia (https://www.labdoo.org/hub?h=25121) were wondering if we could use this traveler to bring one or two laptops back to Colombia. Would that be feasible? Regards, Jordi

Thanks to Thomsen, a helper from Germany, we were able to solve 2 problems showing up often, after installing or cloning 16.04 LTS based software on laptops (the problems showed up with about 20% of all computers). Either the boot process stopped, boot was only possible using the recovery mode. Or the graphic resolution on screen was low (640x480). Here you can find the solution, how to solve it...

We are happy to present a new Labdoo Tool that you will now find in your Teams Dashboard called "Labdoo Events". The feature "Labdoo Events" allows you to create and manage your own events within the Labdoo platform. It provides functions such as creating an event, announcing the event to your community, allowing people to register to your event so you can track the head count, manage your events...

Hi Jordi, Can you let me know what's the proper procedure if a school project is cancelled? Since there's no delete option on the edoovillage page. Thanks!

Hello everyone, This summer we have travelers from Barcelona going to Nepal. We also have laptops available from Barcelona that these travelers can take with them. If any of you has an edoovillage in Nepal and would like to receive these laptops please let us know and we will assign them to your project. I just modified the global macro stats to show the noun 'School' instead of 'Edoovillage' because the word school is shorter and more compact and as the numbers are growing we need a bit more space. I also did that change on the Main Navigation Menu found on top of each page, which also helps to keep it more compact (this also helps when using smaller mobile devices to access labdoo.org). It does...

The Labdoo images, which will be uploaded later than May, 16th 2016, will come WITHOUT PRE-INSTALLEDED CODECS. Due to that you will not be able to watch videos, DVDs etc. any-more on a Labdoo laptop, unless you run a script by yourself. Ubuntu and Mint decided to remove the restricted codecs and extras as well. Those distributions will be delivered without...

Hi @Jonathan, Just a quick query in case you know if there is something that can be done from Google's site. Our last newsletter (https://www.labdoo.org/content/labdoo-newsletter-global-201604) was submitted on Saturday, but this time around for people who have a gmail address, it's landing on their "promotions" folder. It used to be OK, so something in Google's algorithm is now pushing our...
