In Labdoo Barcelona we have been collaborating with ARTistLOVE, a really wonderful organization that works to promote social transformation through art, love and education. You may have already heard from it, check it out: http://artistlove.wixsite.com/english
We did a project this last Summer with ARTistLOVE in India. They brought laptops from Barcelona on their trip New Delhi, and they delivered the laptops to a school and performed their art activities with the children. This is the edoovillage:

The team ARTistLOVE is registered to Labdoo and to this coffee shop team, so they are seeing this conversation.
Their team is now organizing two projects for 2017 to joint forces with Labdoo on the cause to help spread education, art and love:
Project 1. The idea is to send out a message to all edoovillages who would like to participate (perhaps hubs too) and ask them to have their children/students send us a drawing. We could choose a global theme for all for 2017. Then, the ARTistLOVE team will use that to create a small mosaic (similar to the mosaics they have done but smaller, see http://www.artistlove.org/). Their idea is to generate stickers easy to print that can be glued to the top of the laptop. They did something very similar in their edoovillage in India and came out beutifully, see pictures here: https://goo.gl/l1fMAJ
Project 2: In 2017, they plan to do a trip across the whole west American coast on a van. Starting in Northern California, and going down to South America. Because they travel on a van, they can do a dootrip too. So they would like to stop by all the hubs along the way and see if they can collect sanitized laptops that then they can deliver in schools in Central and South America (but also in California if there is any need).
I am posting this here to start up this conversation so we can coordinate both Project 1 and 2. Thoughts? ideas? Let's get this done! :) Cheers.
