Gerne lasse ich dir eine WhatsApp Nachricht von unserem Projektpartner aus Kamerun zukommen. Dank euren Laptops können die Studenten am Gymnasium in Bamendankwe nun auch die praktische Informatikprüfung ablegen. Wir werden dieser Schule weiter Laptops von eurer letzten Spende zukommen lassen. Die Geräte sind vor ein paar Wochen heil in Kamerun angekommen und werden jetzt nach und nach von unserem Landeskoordinator an diverse Projekte verteilt. Nochmals vielen lieben Dank für eure tolle Unterstützung.

Project description: 

"Informatik für Afrika" stellt zum Aufbau des Informatikunterrichtes die benötigte Hard- und Software zur Verfügung. Unser Ziel ist, den Lernenden in dieser abgelegenen Region einen zukunftsgerichteten qualitativ guten Informatikunterricht mit den dazu erforderlichen Hilfsmitteln zu ermöglichen. Wann immer möglich, unterstützen wir die Schulen beim Anschluss ans Internt und helfen beim Aufbau einer nachhaltigen Selbst­finanzierung. Dadurch können wir die Bildungs- und Berufschancen dieser jungen Leute verbessern und so das Ausbildungsgefälle zwischen Land und Stadt reduzieren. Wir un­terstützen die Projektpartner vor Ort bei der Aus- und Weiterbildung und betreuen die Projekte vor Ort und übers Internet.

Wir unterstützen in Awing, Northwest Region Cameroon, die drei folgenden Schulen:

Sekundarschule der PCC, Awing, 100 Schüler
Gymnasium Awing, 900 Studenten
Berufsschule und Technikum Awing, 500 Studenten

Zusätzlich unterstützen wir noch in Santa, Northwest Region Cameroon, ein Gymnasium mit 500 Studenten. Weitere Schulen mit rund 1500 Studenten sind im Aufbau.

Alle diese Schulen werden regelmässig von einem sehr gut bekannten Pastor betreut. (ehemaliger Student an der von uns mit einem Informatikzimmer unterstützten Universität in Kumba).
