The goal of our project is to address the shortage of digital skills among the youth in Ghana and to improve access to education for young people in remote areas or with limited resources with our primary target being youths that are street-connected and underprivileged. The project aims to prepare these youth to meet contemporary and future demands in the fields of technology. Also, the initiative seeks to provide extensive training in digital skills, including coding, programming, web development, data analysis, digital marketing, and graphic design. It will also offer short and long-term courses for young industry workers, and sponsor outstanding beneficiaries to pursue STEAM-based courses at universities.
The beneficiaries of the project, particularly outstanding street-connected youth and the underprivileged, will utilise the laptops for various purposes related to digital skills development. The laptops will be used for educational and training purposes, including coding, programming, web development, data analysis, digital marketing, and graphic design. The laptops will support the implementation of short and long-term courses for young industry workers.
