Hello everyone,

As you may know, recently UNESCO created TANAH, a videogame to help teach kids how to prepare themselves against potential disaster threats like a tsunami or an earthquake:

This videogame is available on Android and iPhone phones. So it is not directly available on the Linux/Ubuntu system that Labdoo uses.

However, there is also a relatively new project called Shashlik that allows to emulate Android applications on Linux:

So we could potentially run TANAH in a Labdoo laptop using Shashlik.

I think it may be worth exploring how good Shashlik runs on Labdoo laptops. If it is good and solid, we may consider adding it, because there are many educational applications like TANAH available from the Android platform (for tablets too) that children can benefit from in the future.

I wonder if anyone could or wants to try running Shashlik and report back any experiences and if it would be suitable to include it in the Labdoo software images. Let us know if you do, thanks!

Cheers.
