Hi Jordi,

I just created an edoovillage and found out I have no right to delete it. Why is that?
Should the creator not be able to delete it?
If you have worries that people delete edoovillages in error you could implement a logic that only edoovillage who have no dootronics assigned to them can be deleted.
What do you think?

Hi Lisa, you make a valid point. Currently we do not allow users to delete edoovillages by themselves because the process of deleting an edoovillage involves also deleting the photo album. In addition, like you say, if the edoovillage has dootronics or pictures linked to, those would become orphan. There is also the risk of making a mistake. Because this is a rare event, right now when somebody needs to delete an edoovillage, he/she needs to email contact@labdoo.org and the superadmin (me, mostly) does that for you.

But you are right and this deserves a more practical solution. It's been in my TODO list. Let me consider the options and get back to you on this. (Thanks for the input.)

Hi Lisa,

This is now implemented. It works as follows:

- Users can only delete their own edoovillages. They cannot delete other users' edoovillages.
- If the edoovillage has dootronics assigned, the delete button is not available.

Feel free to try it and let me know if it works as expected. Thanks.
