Project description: 

Die AG "Pupils for the Poor" unterhält seit Jahren eine Partnerschaft zum Schülerwohnheim "Jakobushaus" in Lipova. Dort wohnen Jugendliche aus armen Familien und abgelegenen Dörfern, damit sie in der Stadt Lipova zur weiterführenden Schule gehen können. Das Wohnheim wird getragen von der Caritas Lipova, die von "Pupils for the Poor" unterstützt wird. Ziel ist es, den rumänischen Jugendlichen einen Zugang zu guter Schulbildung zu ermöglichen, damit sie dem Kreislauf der Armut entkommen können. Dafür ist eine Ausstattung mit PCs sehr wichtig. Im Oktober 2015 fand ein Workcamp in Lipova statt, bei dem die deutschen und rumänischen Jugendlichen zusammen caritative Projekte durchgeführt haben.
