Good news, the team of Labdoo hub Munich (München) Germany found new OER in 3 languages (ES, FR, PT). The content increased from about 4 GB to 40 GB for each of the 3 languages, which offers schools and pupils much more eductaional content and video tutorials. So we recommend you should install and use these several 1.000 ebooks and videos for the schools for your projects. You can find the...

Sometimes we get feedback that a donated and delivered tablet is not starting. Tablet screen stays dark and even connected to power it does not show charging activities. This might be due to a "deeply discharged" battery. Even when a Labdoo helper or hub shuts down a tablet before delivering it may last a while until the tablet reaches a project. During this delivery time the battery can get...

Hello all, Some of you noticed that recently geolocation maps were no longer showing up for dootrip objects. This issue has now been fixed and so you should now be able to geolocate dootrips again. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience! https://www.labdoo.org/content/dootrips-dashboard

Dear all, I've been collaborating with several sanitation hubs and i have this question you could help me answer. What could be a good criteria to decide when to deliver the laptops without batteries? What are the pros and cons of each option (with /without batteries) and where could we set up a standard criteria. I see in the platform labdoo recomends to take the batteries out always, but...

Hi there! We have been discussing today in the Labdoo Hub München the idea of sending a survey to the Edoovillages which already recieved dootronics to get feedback from them. It would be a survey with standard questions. We haven't think about the questions or the system to run the survey. But it should be a multiple choice and yes/no survey where we could easily extract the data. The...

Hi, Fortunately only few donated laptops have a locked BIOS and UEFI / Secure Boot set. Or were produced in the years 2013 - 2014 and offer no legacy mode to boot. But if such a laptop is donated the regular installation process of Labdoo will not work, as our Lubuntu absed images are not prepared to boot UEFI mode. We worked out a "how-to" install Labdoo images on a UEFI computer. It is more...
