Hi everybody,

As you know we (the Catalonia Team) are working on the next conference to be held in Barcelona on October 21st 2017 and we are open to participation from everybody willing to help.

We are thinking on holding work group discussions in the afternoon, about 10 people each work group, and we would like you to propose subjects you would like to work on. For example, we could have a "Recycling and sustainability" group", "Outreaching and Awareness", "Software Platform", or "Refugees support", etc.

Please give us ideas of subjects or activities! With the participation of everybody we can have a great Conference!!

Hello everybody!

That's a great Idea. We've been thinking about which topics we consider relevant to discuss, and we realized how important it is to talk about the way of getting dootronics with dootripers. Considering our location (Colombia), this step in particular has been a big interrogant, so we would love sharing crazy and useful ideas or strategies that other Teams or Hubs had tried before.

We'll keep thinking in other posible topics, and let you know them...

Hi Team,

The topics of the breakout session / group discussion will depends on the overall objectives of this year's conference and participants. I do not know exactly but regardless, these are some of my ideas that
- Starting a new hub. How can we increase the hubs around the world? Easy package, hotline, or better collaboration structure for new hub owners to initiate the hub activities smoothly (how can we enhance the Hub page in labdoo.org?).
- I like the idea posted "outreach and awareness". How can we promote besides word-of-mouth?

Maybe a group can be bit smaller (5-6 people) to make the discussion more dynamic and manageable.

I'll keep thinking and post if I come up with more ideas.

Under "outreach and awareness", perhaps partnerships can be discussed. I won't be present at the conference but for me, partnering with Qantas enabled us to secure 19 tablets for distribution. It takes time and a lot of follow-up but can pay off well.

We will incorporate your proposed working groups in the conference program which will be soon published.

@Kazushi, regarding your suggestion about number of people, i agree smaller is better for more interaction, though we can't fully control how many there will be in each group yet as that depends also on how many attendees we will have. To your point, we will do our best to try to keep it small!

It would be nice to have a group, where interested people can share their ideas and experiences with public relation like contacting newspapers, media and so on
