Bon Nadal i Projecte Open Arms

Benvolgudes escoles i hubs Labdoo de Catalunya:

En nom de l'organització Labdoo, us volem desitjar un molt bon Nadal i donar-vos les gràcies per tot el treball en equip realitzat durant el 2019, fent arribar portàtils educatius a escoles d'arreu del mon.

Com potser heu pogut veure a través dels mitjans de comunicació i xarxes socials, entre altres projectes molt especials, aquest any Labdoo ha unit forces també amb l'organització Open Arms, un projecte que a Catalunya ens és molt proper. L'objectiu és fer arribar l'educació a l'Àfrica per tal que persones d'aquest continent tinguin una millor oportunitat al seu lloc d'origen i deixin de morir al Mediterrani. Us volem convidar a participar amb els vostres estudiants/es, voluntaris/es a participar en aquesta col.laboració que ja està tenint un positiu impacte.

Per Nadal, sovint les famílies comprem nous ordinadors i tauletes, deixant de fer servir els ordinadors que ja tenim, tot i que aquests encara funcionen. És bon moment per fer-nos entre tots i totes un recordatori que aquests aparells poden tenir una gran rellevància en fer arribar l'educació a altres infants d'arreu del planeta.

Gràcies pel vostre activisme, a tots els/les voluntaris, mestres, i l'alumnat.

Season's Greetings from the Labdoo Global Team

2019 has been a remarkable year as we continue to grow the Labdoo project to help bring education to even more schools. This year has been special for many reasons, among them the fact that we've reached the incredible milestone of delivering laptops to more than 1,500 schools in more than 125 countries, providing educational content to more than 500,000 students globally. But above all and most importantly, we have achieved this through global collaboration, all of us together, regardless where each of us comes from. This is why we want to thank you for making the story of Labdoo possible. Whether you have contributed a laptop, a trip, or part of your time to help sanitize laptops, or even just the small gesture of telling the Labdoo story to a friend, to all of you, a most heartfelt thank you.
