If you have 45 minutes, you can contribute your time sanitizing a laptop for a child. Sanitizing a laptop is very simple, it consists mainly in the installation of a set of great education programs called Edubuntu specially prepared for children of all ages. The programs include applications from all branches of science including history, math, geography, biology, physics, arts and drawing, games, economics, etc. To install these programs, all you have to do is follow the simple steps described in your Labdoo sanitation toolkit found in your dashboard. While this is a small task for you, imagine how large the final contribution can be if each of us sanitizes our own laptop! |

Got a few hours? organize a Labdoo talk in your neighborhood, whether it is at your University Campus dorms, in your residential neighborhood, at your company or with your friends. You can download the Labdoo outreach toolkit from your dashboard which provides information and brochures to organize mini community events. Talk with your friends about the problem of the digital divide and electronic waste and discuss about your commitment to properly handle your electronic devices to solve each of these two global issues. |

Are you traveling? Labdoo uses a social network tool called dootrip to coordinate global traveling schedules of volunteers to bring resources from one place to another. This approach effectively provides a free global transportation system that also minimizes the amount of CO2 emission into the atmosphere. If you are traveling, you can register your trip schedule using your dashboard and the Labdoo system will let you know if you can carry a resource in your luggage. Contribute a dootrip and help make Planet Earth a more sustainable place. |
