José Alberto Gutiérrez is a garbage collector in Bogotá. One day he found a pretty box with books in it and with a mark: "León Tolstói, Ana Karenina". He decided to take the books and kept them at his home. That act opened up his curiosity, so much that he continued to collect all the books he was finding while working as a garbage collector. Eventually he decided to build a public library... a library that now has more than 10,000 books and provides free reading services to many children in the city... this is his story...
