09/23/2011 - Labdoo hits the road at CES 2012, come join the movement!
Mark your calendars! the Labdoo team will be presenting the Labdoo project at the 2012 Computer Electronic Show (CES) celebrated in Las Vegas, from 01/10/12 through 01/13/12.
CES is one of the important technology trade shows taking place every year in Las Vegas. It is where high-tech companies present their new innovations.
Why we think that Labdoo's attendance to CES is a good thing? in the fight against the digital divide, Labdoo believes that all of us can contribute. Individuals owning a laptop can make mini-missions to have their unused laptops delivered to a child, travelers making trips to remote locations can dootrip laptops, volunteers from any part of the planet can contribute by sanitizing and installing Edubuntu in an unused laptop, etc. In this grassroots vision, corporations are no exception. They too hold a key to help unlock the true potential of all the children and make our planet a cleaner place.
By attending CES, we will be outreaching to the high-tech world. We will explain how the Labdoo tools can be used to bring laptops to those schools in need and how to do that while eliminating electronic waste.
