09/14/2011 - Join QA Global Party 2 and Sanitize your Laptop
Hello everyone! Mark your calendars, we will be hosting a second QA Global Party on 09/15/2011 at 6pm Barcelona time / 9am California time / 09/16/2011 at 12am Taiwan time. If you have a laptop that you would like to sanitize as part of your own mini-mission to donate it to a child, join the chat room so we can all help each other answering any questions that may come through the process!

What is a QGP?
A key step to bring a laptop to a child is the sanitation step. It means that each of us, once we no longer use our laptop, can easily make an important contribution to bridge the digital divide and reduce eWaste by sanitizing our own laptop and getting it ready for a child. The process of sanitizing a laptop is simple, it typically just involves the installation of open source education software so children can get the most out of the laptop, as described in the Labdoo sanitization toolkit.
So that we can all help each other in this process, Labdoo organizes QA global parties, which are events in which people from anywhere in the globe meet in the QGP chat room to fix laptops and help each other answering any questions that may come during the process via chat.
