04/12/2011 - Call for laptops for project in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Labdoo.org is currently accepting laptops for a new project in Bosnia-Herzegovina.  The laptops will be used in collaboration with the NGO "Cittadella Orizzonti di Pace" to build a computer lab at a local youth community in Zvirovici working with disadvantaged children and young people to complement their school program and to provide capacity building.

Project location: Zvirovici, Bosnia

The project will be carried out from Labdoo Hub Barcelona, where laptops will be collected, sanitized and equipped with the Edubuntu's software education package.  Dootrips will be carried out starting early in the Summer to bring the laptops to Zvirovici via Rome.

If you live in the region of Barcelona / Catalonia and have a laptop that you no longer use and would like to donate it to this project, tag the laptop and contact the Labdoo team at contact@labdoo.org.
