This Friday February 25th Labdoo is inaugurating a new hub in Madrid, Spain. This new Labdoo hub is implemented by Cyclicka.org, a non-profit project that works toward bridging the digital divide by promoting open source technologies, sharing of knowledge and technology recycling.

The new Labdoo hub will be taking upon actions of tagging and sanitizing laptops, installing Edubuntu, opening up discussion forums, mobilizing dootrips to bring technology in disadvantaged areas of the world and all the grassroots tasks needed to bring awareness about the digital divide and eWaste problems.

On February 25th, a festival will be held in Madrid inviting all spectrums of civil society to participate in an event to promote awareness and mobilize resources toward the Labdoo mission. The event will also include a concert by several local young bands in Madrid. If you are in Madrid, don't miss out this great concert festival for a good cause!
