01/30/2012 - Laptops complete cycle of life from Guatemala back to recycling factory in Barcelona, dootrips to Thailand and Bosnia
A volunteer dootripper brought broken laptops from Guatemala back to Barcelona where they have been recycled at the local recycling facility helping reduce electronic waste. Each of these laptops has now completed a full cycle of life and each of them has a story of its own that you can now explore, from their original owner, through the sanitation process, their delivery to a child via dootrippers and their final recycling stage back to planet earth.

While this was happening, dootrippers from Rome and Madrid carried sanitized laptops loaded with Edubuntu to Thailand and Bosnia. Check out also the story of each of these laptops!
